Our service

Yellowstone Solar Pty Ltd provides a free comparison and referral service. We compare solar, battery and EV options, prices and rebates, prepare a recommended plan, and arrange proposals from independent solar companies and installers. We do not install systems.

Referral commission

When you sign a proposal from a solar company we arranged, that company pays Yellowstone Solar a referral commission. Our service costs you nothing.

Same price as going direct

Our solar company partners agree to charge you the same price as if you approached them directly. If you believe you were charged more, tell us and we will raise it with the company.

Your contract is with the solar company

Proposals, contracts, installation, product warranties and workmanship warranties are provided by the solar company, not Yellowstone Solar. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law apply to the solar company and manufacturer.

Comparisons and estimates

Comparisons, plans, calculators and figures are based on information available at the time and typical usage, and are not quotes. The solar company’s written proposal confirms pricing and rebates.

General information

Information about finance, rebates and government programs is general in nature and is not financial, credit, legal or engineering advice. We do not provide credit or credit advice.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Yellowstone Solar is not liable for the products or services supplied by solar companies. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
